Be
patient toward all that is unsolved
in your heart and try to love the
questions themselves.

Meditations
for those struggling with grief.
Founded in 1982 by Judy and Dave Osgood, Gilgal
Publications is dedicated to helping those struggling with grief
and issues of personal faith.
Each of the books in our Gilgal Meditations
Series is a collection of short articles by people who are experiencing
different forms of grief or life altering stress situations. These
books have been found helpful by thousands of folks who are seeking
help at a time of severe stress. They have been purchased by parishes
and members of the caring professions, to be used as adjuncts to
other forms of ministry. Many have been given as presents
by friends who "just don't know what to say" to a grieving loved
one.
Released in March
2007, the articles in Meditations
for the Bereaved cover many relationships
like the death of a parent, a spouse,
a child, a sibling, a grandparent, and
a best friend, to name a few. They deal
with death caused by illness, advanced
age, accidents, suicide and violence.
While grief is always unique, it is our
hope that everyone will find a story similar
enough to their own to know that an unseen
friend shares and understands their pain.
